To create glamourous window takeovers to bring the premium fragrance category to life and disrupt shoppers as they passed by Superdrug stores over the festive period.
Window displays using printed cardboard, hanging signs, or festive bunting no longer cut it to capture consumers' attention in the oversaturated Christmas high street.
Superdrug challenged us to provide an alternative way to add some glitz and glamour to their seasonal displays to enhance their range of premium fragrances to boost sales in the golden quarter.
With this in mind, we created an impactful 3D display using giant pink baubles to frame the luxury scents, providing a wow-factor window to stand out amongst the other high street stores.
We decided to create a more significant impact by focusing on fewer stores. As such, we designed site-specific displays for 13 stores over 28 days in the lead-up to Christmas. Using signature Superdrug pink to pop against the typical Christmas colours, our bauble displays enticed shoppers to explore fragrance gifts with a “Go on then, it’s Christmas” CTA. We furthered this with the illusion of depth created by the bauble frame, drawing the eye into the store.
Our activation was so successful it won N2O the 2022 POPAI Gold Award in the Window Display category.
