N2O is committed to ensuring that our workplace remains free from sexual harassment and that everyone is treated with dignity and respect. We will take appropriate action against any third party who violates this policy to protect our employees and maintain a safe working environment. A third party would include clients, suppliers, Brand Ambassadors and other contractors engaged to provide services to our business on a self-employed basis.
Sexual Harassment is unwanted conduct of a sexual nature which has the purpose or effect of violating a person's dignity or creating anintimi dating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for that person. It also covers treating someone less favourably because they have submitted to or refused to submit to unwanted conduct of a sexual nature, or that is related to gender reassignment or sex. It can occur via digital means including social media sites or channels e.g. WhatsApp. Someone may be sexually harassed even if they were not the target of the behaviour. Examples of sexual harassment include, but are not limited to:
· sexual comments or jokes, which may be referred to as ‘banter’
· displaying sexually graphic pictures, posters or photos
· suggestive looks, staring or leering
· propositions and sexual advances
· making promises in return for sexual favours
· sexual gestures
· intrusive questions about a person’s private or sex life or a person discussing their own sex life
· sexual posts or contact in online communications including on social media
· spreading sexual rumours about a person
· sending sexually explicit emails, text messages or messages
· unwelcome touching, hugging, massaging or kissing
All third parties working with N2O are required to conduct themselves in a manner that respects the dignity and rights of others. This includes complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding harassment and discrimination.
We encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses sexual harassment involving third parties to report them to the Company. N2O reserves the right to investigate all reports of harassment and take appropriate action.This may include terminating contracts or partnerships with third parties found to be in violation of this policy.
