Showcasing British farming.

This summer, we reinvigorated Tesco’s presence at four Royal Agricultural Shows across the UK with a fresh, modern and inviting stand that encouraged consumers to explore and get involved.

The spacious, open plan stand showcased a wide variety of Tesco products to demonstrate Tesco’s partnerships with ‘Experts in their Fields’.

Three fresh food categories each had their own area: dairy, meat and poultry, and fruit and veg, each demonstrating Tesco’s passion for quality food and long-term support of British farming suppliers and agriculture.

Each show had its own local touch featuring different suppliers and experts showcasing national and local products, in some instances local suppliers representing their products in person.

Tesco’s very own development chef engaged visitors from a central stage with a series of demonstrations throughout each day, from cooking ranch eggs to a butchery masterclass.

20 delicious recipe cards, based on the demonstrations and seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables, were available for visitors to take home.

Visitors could taste and learn about British cheeses in the barn-styled dairy area.

At our butcher’s block, Tesco’s expert butcher entertained visitors before they tasted local meats with local cider and ale, then identified cuts on a large wall graphic to win a prize.

The vegetable patch celebrated the best of British seasonal fruit and veg with British strawberries and cream tastings. Kids got creative colouring in masks, doodling and playing our ‘shop and scan’ challenge for the chance to win a family day out.
